About Oscar de la Renta
Oscar de la Renta, born in the Dominican Republic in 1932, trained with Cristóbal Balenciaga and Antonio Castillo before launching his own label in 1965. His costume jewellery was conceived as an extension of his couture collections — opulent, feminine pieces with oversized flowers, intricate filigree and vivid crystals that carry the same elegance and drama as his gowns.
