Ornate silver pencil holder with its original short pencil inside. The case has detailed floral and bow motifs on the front, and a small loop so it can be worn as a pendant or kept on a chain. The pencil fits securely into the silver top, exactly as intended.
A functional little writing tool from the late 19th to early 20th century, made to be carried on a chatelaine or worn as an everyday accessory. Lovely condition for its age, full of character.
