Leather and Velvet Jewellery Box

The exterior of this large, early 20th Century jewellery box is made from brown leather, with gilded detailing. Its interior is lined with orange velvet and has a removable tray. There is room for several jewels and quite a lot of rings – it will easily fit 24 rings in the three different ring slots – in the tray, while the bottom compartment is suitable to store several jewellery boxes or pouches. The box comes without a key. 

Dimensions: 9 x 30 x 23,5 cm / 3.5 x 12 x 9.25 inches. 
Condition: in good antique condition with some wear, consistent with its age. The exterior has a patina, created over time, adding to its charm.
