This adorable stickpin would have originally been worn in a gentleman’s cravat, the predecessor of the necktie. It depicts the head of a cockatoo, studded with rose-cut diamonds and antique-cut rubies.

Material: Hallmarked with a French hallmark for 18k gold: the settings of the diamonds are clad in silver.
