This very chic cigarette case is a lovely tribute to a bygone era. It will hold about three cigarettes, but could also be used to store other trinkets.
The case is made from gunmetal, an alloy with a distinctive mat, black color and smooth, silky finish. The front of the case is decorated with two little spiders, made up from a tiny cabochon-cut turquoise and a rose-cut diamond. The button to open the case is also studded with a small turquoise cabochon.

The interior measures 56 x 32 mm.
Age: Early 20th Century, circa 1910s.
Material: Gunmetal, set with turquoise and diamonds.
Condition: in great antique condition with only wear, consistent with its age. The exterior has a few faint scuffs from past use. The spring is still very strong: I would advise opening it with both hands the first time, to prevent it from jumping out of your hands!
