This chic Italian silver case is decorated with an engraved ray pattern and fitted with a scalloped-shaped 14k rose gold clasp. It was originally likely intended for small cigarettes, but would also fit other items like money, business cards, or pictures.

Age: Mid-20th century, circa 1960s.
Hallmarks: Hallmarked for 925/1000 silver and 14k gold. The inside also displays the name of an Italian maker, which has unfortunately faded and which I was therefore not able to identify.
Condition: In good vintage condition with only minor wear, consistent with age. There are a few small dents on the backside: this can be seen in the pictures.
