This adorable little silver dog, which I believe to be a whippet, is perched on a gold plinth, set at the bottom with a carnelian plaque. He is beautifully rendered and wears a tiny gold collar.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Size: 17 x 22 x 7 mm, excluding the jump ring.
Weight: 6.10 grams
Age: 19th Century, circa 1860s.
Material: Acid tested as 18k gold and silver.
Condition: In good antique condition with only minor signs of wear, consistent with age. Since the jump ring is slightly more rose coloured than the rest of the pendant, I believe that this is a later addition.
