This platinum ring is centered by a round-cut, dark blue natural sapphire of an estimated 1.58 carats. Each side flanking this sapphire is set with two columns of rose-cut diamonds, which are decorated with millegrain, a technique in which a small engraving tool is used to create the illusion of tiny grains of sand lining the gemstone.
